Gisela located the most recent scholarship and policy information on paid sick leave, identifying 7 major questions and 30 reliable facts to answer those questions. Her findings have been disseminated to more than 300 international scholars. Gisela is a junior where she is currently working towards her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a double minor in Education Studies and Legal Studies. Her career plans are to pursue a master’s degree in either African American Studies or Social and Cultural Analysis after her graduation in May 2022 while still working as an alumnus at The Brotherhood/Sister Sol.
