What factors contribute(d) to your success?
Patience and involvement. I was patient when in the job searching process until I found the right fit. When at Ithaca College and during breaks I was always very involved between clubs, career services, internships, jobs, and volunteering. Each of these gave me different experiences to learn and pull from when I was interviewing for different roles.
Who at IC supported you on your journey?
I had a lot of support on my journey at IC. The main people I always go back to are my coworkers form Phonathon and the faculty in the Exploratory and Math departments.
What advice would you offer to students?
My advice would be to always try new things, to actively look for resources Ithaca has to offer, and don’t define yourself by your major.
