The Academic Support Center hosts weekly Success Study Sessions. These structured study sessions are open to all students and run Sundays through Thursdays from 6-8pm beginning after Labor Day (week 2)
Study sessions are two-hour structured periods for students to work towards personal academic goals and complete classwork. They foster a consistent routine for students to practice time management skills, combat procrastination, and work on specific assignments. With the support of their peers and mentors, students can set goals, complete tasks, have progress checks, and make effective plans for submitting assignments, scheduling their obligations, and communicating with professors. Study sessions can be used in a variety of ways which makes the time flexible and productive for students with differing tasks, timelines, and study habits.
Locations rotate to accommodate all schools with Peer Success Coaches are available to support students in their academic goals as needed. Students can register in advance to receive reminders, or drop-in anytime between 6pm and 8pm.
