4.10 Guidelines for Search and Appointment of Faculty

4.10.1 General Guidelines

Proposals for all faculty positions in the College are subject to review by the applicable dean and the department. The department submits a request, including a needs assessment, through the dean, to the provost & vice president for academic affairs.

4.10.2 Search and Screen Guidelines*

The recruitment and selection of candidates for faculty positions will conform with the Non-Discrimination Policy of the College. The complete policy is available in section 2.3 of Volume II of the Ithaca College Policy Manual.
