David is President and CEO of Firstrust Financial Resources and Vice Chairman of Karr Barth Associates. His focus includes professional development, strategic planning, and driving growth initiatives across the firm, including mergers & acquisitions. Together, these organizations consist of more than 350 associates. A leader in the industry, he has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business, and KYW News Radio for business commentary.
David is also dedicated to his community, and after decades of public service currently serves as Mayor of Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
David’s Ithaca College roots run deep. He is a proud graduate of the Class of ’91 (BS, Finance), former president of the Ithaca College Alumni Association, and an active member of the Board of Trustees.
During his tenure on the board, Dave has chaired the Buildings and Grounds, Finance & Investment, Strategic Planning, and Presidential Search committees.
He and his wife, Jennifer Cooley Fleisher ’92, reside in Cherry Hill, NJ and are the proud parents of Matthew ’20, Anna, Robby, and family dog, Hudson (named after his Ithaca address while living off-campus as a student).
Dave is passionate about Ithaca College and is enthusiastic and unabashed about his love and support for IC.
