International Orientation August 2025
Mandatory for new international students
- Wednesday, August 20, 10 am - 5 PM
- BUS 202: Are you a new international student joining us this semester? If so, we warmly invite you to attend International Orientation. This event will provide essential information to help you navigate life and academics in the U.S., including guidance on classroom expectations, immigration regulations, and other important topics.
Optional events for international students
- Monday, August 18, 6 pm
- Campus Center Dining Hall: Dinner together. For everyone who already made it to campus (and is not doing Jumpstart), let's get together for dinner! Look for the table with the "globe ball" (a beach ball which looks like a globe) towards the back of the dining hall.

- Campus Center Quad SAB Presents: Jumpstart Closing and Outdoor Movie: Looking for a fun on-campus opportunity after the Jumpstart Program, or if you're on campus early? Bring a blanket and join your friends on the Campus Center Quad for an outdoor showing of The Lego Movie! Everyone who attends will be entered into a raffle for some awesome prizes courtesy of the Student Activities Board. Click here for more information.

Join us for some fun meet-and-greet activities! Catch up with fellow IC international students, say hello to other new students, meet the rest of the IC international family, and enjoy some sweet treats!
