Experience Ithaca this Summer!
Online or On the Lake
Summer is a great time to catch up, make up, or get ahead. Take a required course or enjoy an elective on our green campus only minutes away from cool waterfalls and Cayuga Lake. When you're not studying, enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, running track, and free concerts. You'll also have access to our well-equipped Fitness Center, library, and computing facilities. On-campus housing is available.
Summer sessions at IC consists of three consecutive sessions, each equivalent to a 15-week semester. Final exams are included within each session. The sessions do not overlap and students are welcome to attend all three sessions. Because of the compressed nature of the classes, students are limited to a maximum credit load per session.
Students are responsible for adhering to published deadlines and assume full responsibility for the accuracy of their registration and for incurred tuition and fees. The College does not drop students from courses for non-attendance or missed deadlines.
Summer sessions at Ithaca College offers a wide variety of undergraduate courses, ranging from liberal arts and natural sciences to business, communications, health sciences and music. With two five-week sessions and one two-week session, you can easily plan a summer schedule that meets your needs and interests. A wide selection of courses are offered online, allowing you to study anywhere -- on campus, at home, or while you travel.
You can find summer session course offerings online using HomerConnect beginning in January.
If you're not a current IC student, but need one or two courses to transfer elsewhere, you're a nondegree (extramural) student. Visit Nondegree Study to learn more.
