The School of Business houses the Center for Trading and Analysis of Financial Instruments (CTAFI), otherwise known as the Trading Room, where students simultaneously access information in real time and make critical decisions. The live stock ticker in this room is one-half second slower than Wall Street.
The Trading Room greatly facilitates student learning and is an essential tool for narrowing the gap between students' acquired knowledge in an academic setting and practitioners' need for real-world experience. From day one, students have access to the Trading Room.
Trading Room features 12 Bloomberg terminals equipped with Bloomberg software and fifty-three workstations with real-time Thomson One investment management software. Additional software includes; Thomson Data Stream, Baseline, Closed-End Funds and ETFs, Russell Investments, Palisade Decision Tools Suite, Value Line and Morningstar.
