ICC Assessment Processes and Reports

Systematic assessment of the ICC , excluding the Ithaca Seminar (ICSM) program and Academic Writing requirement, is organized by the Office of the ICC under the administrative responsibility of the Director of the ICC and with assistance from the ICC Curriculum and Assessments Committee (ICC-CAC).
Assessment Processes

Student artifacts for each of the ICC Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) are collected on a semester basis from ICC-designated courses based on an established calendar. Faculty teaching in the ICC complete a brief survey on the artifact they would prefer collected each semester to best indicate the achievement of the ICC SLOs relevant to their course. These artifacts are collected using our LMS (Canvas) and uploaded to the Watermark assessment platform for the ICC (OAP- Outcomes Assessment Projects). The student artifacts are then assessed for achievement of the SLOs by faculty reviewers based on shared rubrics.
