Information regarding formal reviews [for tenure and/or promotion] can be found at the following places:

Important Dates for Faculty Formal Reviews

Tenure Application (typically in conjunction with application for promotion to Associate Professor)
Deadline for faculty member to make a formal request to their Dean to be considered for tenure in the upcoming academic year	March 2, 2026, for formal review in 2026-27. March 1, 2027, for formal review in 2027-28.
Faculty member submits lists of prospective confidential reviewers to their Dean	April 1, 2026, for formal review in 2026-27. April 1, 2027, for formal review in 2027-28.
Submit compilation of materials for external reviewers to the review committee chair or their designee	May 1, 2026 for formal review in 2026-27. May 1, 2027 for formal review in 2027-28.
