Senior Writing major Ashan Chandrasena has recently been accepted into a master's program at Oxford University.
About this exciting achievement, Ashan said, "I’m excited to be pursuing my Masters of Science in Modern South Asian Studies at the University of Oxford, as it offers a unique opportunity to deepen and refine my academic focus. The program aligns closely with my interests in the region’s history, politics, and cultural narratives, while also giving me the space to connect that research to my creative work. I’m especially looking forward to how this experience will challenge me intellectually and enrich my storytelling, allowing me to engage more critically and imaginatively with the themes that shape both my scholarship and my writing."
