Important 2025-26 Dates for Faculty Formal Reviews

Tenure Application (typically in conjunction with application for promotion to Associate Professor)
Deadline for faculty member to make a formal request to their Dean to be considered for tenure in the upcoming academic year	March 3, 2025, for formal review in 2025-26 March 2, 2026, for formal review in 2026-27.
Faculty member submits lists of prospective confidential reviewers to their Dean	April 1, 2025, for formal review in 2025-26. April 1, 2026, for formal review in 2026-27.
Submit compilation of materials for external reviewers to the review committee chair or their designee	May 1, 2025 for formal review in 2025-26. May 1, 2026 for formal review in 2026-27.
Initial file submission due to department review committee	August 25, 2025 for formal review in 2025-26.
Department review committee recommendation due to Dean	September 29, 2025 for formal review in 2025-26.
Dean recommendation due to Provost’s office	October 27, 2025 for formal review in 2025-26.
All College Tenure and Promotion Committee recommendation due to Provost ‘s office	December 8, 2025 for formal review in 2025-26.
