Physics Minor

Interested in physics, but don't have the time for a major? You can obtain a physics minor by enrolling in 12 credits of physics and/or astronomy courses after taking our introductory physics series (PHYS 101 and 102 and/or PHYS 122 and PHYS 123)! Calculus is not required for this minor.

Want more astronomy than our introductory astronomy courses (ASTR 174 Solar System Astronomy and ASTR 175 Stars, Galaxies, and the Universe)? Check out our Astronomy minor! You can get a minor in astronomy by adding our introductory physics series (PHYS 101/102 or PHYS 122/123), ASTR 220 Intermediate Astrophysics and either observational astronomy or research in astronomy. Calculus is not required for this minor.
