Student Accessibility Services
Welcome to Student Accessibility Services (SAS) at Ithaca College!
Student Accessibility Services is a proud member of the Center for Academic Advancement and partners with the Academic Advising Center and Tutoring Services, to provide a one-shop for resources that support student success.
Our philosophy is to build on student strengths, working together to consider strategies for overcoming obstacles so that students can maximize their academic potential.
SAS works in partnership with the students, faculty and staff to develop and implement accommodations plans that provide equal access to academic programs.
We encourage students and their families to review this website for information on how to register with this office, how to provide documentation of a disability, as well as an overview of the services and accommodations available.
Feel free to contact us with any questions by telephone or e-mail.
Opportunity to participate in Active Minds Campaign:
Active Minds is sponsoring an awareness campaign in support of Student Accessibility Services (SAS). SAS offers important services and advocacy for students with disabilities, including mental health, physical, learning, chronic health conditions, and temporary disabilities. Do you support or use SAS? Sign up to be a model in the Active Minds campaign! The photo shoot will take less than 5 minutes and will be occurring this Saturday and Sunday afternoon (December 3rd and 4th) in MacDonald Lounge in the Campus Center. Photo shoot times are Saturday 2:30pm-4pm and Sunday 12pm-1:30pm. Students are encouraged to sign up to a time range in advance but are also welcome to show up any time to get their pictures taken, which will take less than 5 minutes! Active Minds hopes to have a wide range of models with a variety of campus involvements and identities.
Sign up here and show up any time within your chosen time range. Feel free to bring a friend! http://www.signupgenius.com/go/409054fa8a72fa1fb6-student
